Chris is an Assurance Review Team Leader for High Risk Projects/Programmes for the UK Government Infrastructure Projects Authority(IPA) and for the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland Governments.
She is also frequently called up to lead reviews on major and high risk projects (particularly transformational) in a number of UK government departments including Defence, Health, Education, Transport, Justice, Home Office and Communities & Local Government, as well as for the Australian and New Zealand Governments.
In her role as member of Tfl’s senior assurance body, the Independent Investment Advisory Group, she provides 3rd line senior assurance to the TfL Board and the London Assembly particularly in the field of ICT.
Chris is a consummate leader and effective communicator – in addition to her project assurance work she also provides practical support and mentoring services to projects and programmes. These include a number of projects in Australia, Canada and the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change for whom she was interim Programme Director for the Electricity Market Reform programme until its close in 2015.
As an integral part of all her work she helps organisations to identify the root causes of problems and design practical workable solutions, whether these be at governance, management, operational or technical levels.
In the higher education sector, Chris is a Council Member for Royal Holloway, University of London, and is involved in all aspects of governance and assurance. She also chairs the Health and Safety Assurance Committee and is a member of other committees.
"ALCO provided informed and efficient service to the Smart Ticketing study helping to meet and exceed Welsh Government’s requirements for the project. As Consultant Project Manager I would have no hesitation in combining with ALCO for such opportunities in future."
