Testimonials
From Derbyshire County Council
’‘ALCO were selected because of their extensive experience of the national and international scene, their practical experience in implementing major initiatives and their close involvement in the development of national and international standards. They proved able to use this experience and expertise very effectively to support the county council. The consultants who worked with the county council were directors of the company and acknowledged as leading experts in the field. This was demonstrated in everything they undertook and in their dedicated approach to meeting our needs. ALCO’s understanding of the Smartcard environment was second to none and the company worked hard to gain an understanding of local government and its needs. We would have no hesitation in using them in future, or in recommending them to other authorities and agencies”

From The Welsh Assembly Government
Welsh Citizen Card Study
“ALCO’s strategic, technical, project management and general skills have consistently been of an excellent standard. In many instances ALCO delivered in a way, and to a standard, above that required. ALCO have proved highly capable and have always responded to our requests quickly and effectively. At all stages their support has been excellent. ALCO’s work and reporting has been highly praised in all parts, and at all levels, in the Assembly Government (including from our senior business team, senior e-government officials and senior policy officials)”
Equality Impact Assessment
"As part of its extensive programme of work to modernise and improve the accessibility of public services, the Welsh Assembly Government commissioned ALCO to carry out an Equality and Consumer Impact Assessment review on the proposal to introduce a national public service smartcard to the citizens of Wales.
ALCO delivered a comprehensive, thorough and high quality impact assessment study which was very well received by senior officials in the Assembly Government. On this basis I would have no hesitation in recommending commissioning ALCO to do similar assessments in the future."
